Well hello there, welcome to Moon Cactus Studio! I specialize in handmade jewelry with an emphasis on metals & wire worked copper pieces. I am currently attending a course with NYIAD to further develop my craft. I began working with jewelry in 2007 & started out as Meg’s Bittersweet Jewelry. 2017 has been a year of transition. Focusing more on simple, clean designs that transition from everyday wear to complimenting evening attire. With the new launch of Moon Cactus Studio comes new designs & avenues. Men, I haven’t forgotten about you. Moon Cactus Studio is also dabbling in some men’s accessories.
Original designs & custom pieces are my specialty. It is always a pleasure working with customers on designing a piece for them. I work hard to support & promote local or small businesses, which is why Moon Cactus Studio is sold primarily at local markets & popup events including Picnic’s farmer’s markets, First Thursday & Eastside Popup. Most of Moon Cactus Studio’s materials are purchased via Austin local bead shops & from suppliers located in my home state, New Mexico.
